Have you ever met a girl and just instantly knew that she was amazing? Her energy and smile. Her zest for life that shines all around her. Her friendliness and kindness that is just an integral part of who she is. Well that’s Mikaela! She is a senior at Lee Davis High School in Mechanicsville and one of my AKP Senior Squad girls. – Mechanicsville Senior Pictures –
I just knew from the moment I met Mikaela and her mother at our first Senior Squad meeting that she is amazing. Both inside and outside!!! I mean that smile of hers could light a dark room. She’s also incredibly humble. Mikaela was on homecoming court this year and her mom told me about it not her! She has such a beautiful heart and is very involved with Young Life. And let’s not forget that she plays guitar, sings, and does live performances!!!
Part of the AKP Senior Portrait Experience is that we sit down for a pre-session consult to discuss everything from location choices to outfits and makeup. I really make it a point to get to know you so your session is all about you! Sitting down with Mikaela for her pre-session consult got her and her mother thinking about location options and they suggested Yorktown, VA. Yorktown is where her mother is from and Mikaela has spent a lot of time there over the years. There’s also a beach and so this was a no-brainer! I absolutely LOVE that I could make Mikaela’s Senior Portrait Experience Session so special for her and give her and her family images that were so meaningful. That’s what it’s all about!!!
